Q: Do I have to be a Mom to wear Mommy Makeup?

A: Of Course Not!

Anyone who has a busy schedule, with little time for themselves, but still wants to look and feel good will love Mommy Makeup. I decided to name the line Mommy Makeup because I found that once I became a Mom, I had to re-think my makeup routine due to my limited time.

Q: Are Mommy Makeup products hypo-allergenic?

A: Yes. However, the term "hypo-allergenic" can be misleading. It does NOT mean that you will never have an allergic reaction to a product. In fact, your body chemistry changes daily and you can use a product or eat a certain food for years and then suddenly become allergic to it.

Q: Is your makeup comparable to other "bare" mineral makeups on the market?

A: Mineral Powders are naturally oil-free, talc-free, and fragrance-free making them ideal for sensitive skins (and for women who find their skin going through hormonal changes). They also give nice coverage but feel weightless on the skin. However, most mineral powders on the market today are loose powders, making them a MESS, especially with a baby or toddler around. That's why Mommy Makeup's mineral powders are all pressed... so you get the benefits and coverage of mineral powders with on-the-go convenience and NO MESS!

Q: Do your makeup colors and shades look exactly like they do on your website?

A: At Mommy Makeup we make every effort to give an accurate representation of our products colors and shades. However, there are some variations on how colors appear from one computer screen to another. Please keep this in mind, but know that we do our best to represent each shade as accurately as possible.

Q: How do I choose which shade in the Pretty-n-Polished or Clean-n-Casual Kits is best for me?

Both Pretty-n-Polished and Clean-n-Casual kits contain Mommy's Little Helper Concealer and Mineral Dual Powder SPF8 along with neutral colors for the eyes, cheeks and lips.

To choose which kit is best for you, focus on choosing the Mommy's Little Helper Concealer and Mineral Dual Powder SPF8 that you feel best suits your skintone.

Q: I have finished one product from my kit. Can I purchase an individual refill?

A: Yes, absolutely!

All the products in the Pretty-n-Polished and Clean-n-Casual kits can be purchased individually.

And there's no rule that says you have to use the same "Mommy's Kisses" color every day, forever -- that's why I have 11 different shades!

Q: Why aren't there brushes included in the Pretty-n-Polished and Clean-n-Casual kits?

A: Well two reasons...

First, many women already own brushes that they like and want to continue using.

Second, to keep the cost of the kits at a reasonable price. There are kits out there in "cosmetic land", that are sold with brushes - but these kits do not contain products that do your entire face. Also, the brushes included in these kits are often of lesser quality. As a makeup artist, I simply don't feel right doing that.

Customer Service

A: Yes!

Our server must pass all PCI scans quarterly. We do not store your credit card. Our site is protected by 128-bit SSL. At checkout, you will see the "lock" icon indicating all data moves from your computer to the server encrypted.

We take your privacy and security VERY seriously, and treat your data as if it were our own. Click on the "Security Metrics" button to the right to verify our PCI compliance status. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Q: What is your return policy?

A: We expect that you will be 100% satisfied with your order, our service, and especially our products.

If there is damage to your shipment, please contact us immediately and we will expedite replacements. Please retain the original packing material and await instruction. We will arrange pickup of the damaged item(s) and we will replace your product(s) as required.

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, for any reason, within the first 30 days, we will offer an exchange, or refund (your choice). Please contact us for an Return Merchandise Authorization. Refunds will be given for the purchase price shown on your invoice for the products. Unfortunately, shipping costs can not be refunded. We will not accept returns without an RMA.

If you are returning products to us, we highly recommend that you send your return package via UPS (or other trackable carrier), or insured Parcel Post/Priority Mail. Mommy Makeup can not be responsible for lost shipments.

Gift Certificates can not be refunded. However, purchases made by redeeming a Gift Certificate will have the same unconditional 30-day satisfaction guarantee - in the case of a return from a Gift Certificate purchase, we will issue store credit in the form of an electronic Gift Card.

Please do not hesitiate to call or email if you have any questions or issues regarding your order. We want you to be happy - anything less is not acceptable. We will do whatever is required to ensure you have the appropriate products for your skin type, coloring, and lifestyle.
