Combat dry, peeling lips with this dermatologist-approved routine: After brushing teeth, gently exfoliate lips with a clean, wet toothbrush to remove flakes. Immediately lock in moisture with petrolatum-free balms like Dionis Goat Milk Lip Balm or vitamin E sticks (avoid Vaseline/ChapStick). Finish with Line Smoothing Lip Gloss containing sunflower oil and brown algae to hydrate while reducing fine lines.
TALC. It is a four letter word. And talc is an ingredient that you should avoid. Here’s why:
Talc can be drying to the skin.
Sensitive skins can (and usually do) have adverse reactions to talc.
Talc can "scratch" the skin.
And If talc is not processed properly, it may even contain some asbestos in it!
